(0033) 672800137 messmouna@yahoo.fr 24 years old EDUCATION AND TRAINING: 2004-Present Textile Engineering Diplôma at ENSISA (Ecole Nationale Supèrieure d'Ingénieurs Sud Alsace, France). Modules studied include spinning, knitting, weaving, textile finishing, nonwovens and compound materials. Skills acquired include metrological measurement and interpretation, polymer chemistry and manipulation. During the course of this diploma two main projects have been conducted, the first was a two month project and involved training at the LPMT (Laboratoire de Physique et Mécanique Textile) metrology textile laboratory at ENSISA, in collaboration with Texas Tech University. This project studied the microstructure and mechanical properties of genetically modified cotton, concentrating on the primary and secondary walls. Skilled acquired include SEM and individual fibre mechanical tests (tensile, fatigue). A project was carried out in collaboration with ICS (Institut Charles Sadron, Strasbourg). The main idea of this study is the grafting of polyamide microphone-capsules containing beta-cyclodextrin on samples of knitting cotton and testing resistance to washing and behaviour of perfume. The second project is currently being conducted at CSIRO Textile and Fibre Technology in Geelong, Australia. This six month project involves the manufacture and characterisation of textile structures for use as tissue engineering scaffolds, determining the relationship between manufacturing route and scaffold properties. Skilled acquired during this project include use of microscopy, nonwoven, electrospinning and knitting technologies, physical testing of scaffolds and characterisation of scaffold structure using image analysis. 2002 - 2004 Preparatory degree for entrance to ENSISA, El Manar School, Tunisia. 2001-2002 Baccalaureate school leaving degree certificate, specialising in technology.
